Brief Bio
The past few years, I have worked in both West Chester Area School District and Downingtown Area School district as a general classroom teacher for a variety of grade levels. Last year, I was a 3rd CYBER educator for Downingtown Cyber Academy. I also created and ran After School and Summer Programs with Downingtown Area Education Foundation.
This year, 2022-2023, I am continuing my journey with Westtown School to be their Lower School Science Teacher. This role has a focus in environmental and sustainable education with technology integration. I will be helping to co-manage their iLab, which is their version of a makerspace. I am heavily involved in robotics and worked with The Micro:Bit Educational Foundation to provide professional development opportunities for educators internationally. I spend much of my free time with my family. I enjoys reading, writing, cooking, and building robots in my spare time. I am the happy companion of a husband, a tortoise and a lizard at home. |
