As Director of Learning at CodeJoy, I lead professional development programs that help K-12 educators bring computer science into their classrooms—regardless of their technical background.
Since joining CodeJoy in 2024, I've trained more than 1,000 teachers nationwide through partnerships with Infosys Foundation USA and Iowa's CS PD Incentive Fund. Our programs consistently deliver measurable results: 90%+ of participants report high confidence in teaching CS after completing our courses, with effect sizes (Cohen's d) greater than 1.0.
My work spans the full lifecycle of professional development—from designing new learning experiences and managing product partner relationships to writing grant applications and leading large-scale, multi-state initiatives. I also help manage CodeJoy's social media presence and blog, connecting our community with resources, stories, and inspiration.
I have also worked with the Micro:bit Educational Foundation on Google-funded pilot programs, bringing hands-on computing experiences to educators nationally.
